**APPLICATIONS POSTMARKED AFTER JANUARY 6TH, 2020 WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $20 PER PERSON (LATE FEE)**
We all know that we have some pretty awesome people in our NYOA series and we would like to ask people that witnessed an act of kindness or someone that went above and beyond for another member to write us an email and tell us the story. We will be accepting stories until December 25, 2019. The banquet committee will then be taking the stories and omitting all names and rider numbers to pass them along to a group of people that are not associated with the banquet. This group will chose the top 4-6 stories to be read aloud during the appropriate banquet! We will also be printing these stories and hanging them throughout the banquet to remind everyone what an awesome group of people we have. Your name and the individual you have nominated will be displayed on this story.
**Please send your story/nomination to firstname.lastname@example.org**

We have job openings on our registration team. The following paid positions are available and we are currently accepting resumes/ names to be considered.
We are looking for four people in total to fill our needs in registration.
We have two openings for people to register existing members for races and to sign up new members as well as day riders. They will work with our head registrar. Time commitment is 4:15pm- 7:45pm on Saturdays of race weekends and 6:15am- until Adult Quad start on Sundays of race weekends.
Registration will typically have two people who will register our riders. The head registrar and one other person. We would like to have the one position be shared by two people to give more flexibility in these roles. Days and times may be divided between the two. (For example, one person could work Saturdays and the other Sundays or the two people could choose to divide the races and work every other weekend.)
Compensation for these positions is as follows:
$100 per each Saturday worked
$200 per each Sunday worked
We are also in need of one person to work in the registration area each weekend to handle AMA memberships for those riders who need new memberships and those who need to renew their memberships. This position can also be shared by two people to provide flexibility if we have candidates interested in that option.
Compensation for this (these) position(s) is as follows:
$30 per each Saturday worked
$70 per each Sunday worked
Interested applicants should submit their interest to the following email:

Guess what? At NYOA we are focusing more on SAFETY then ever! Please read below to learn how you can help prevent issues from happening at a NYOA event!
NYOA Safety Guidelines:
• All vehicles in the pit area must be operated in a safe and reasonable manner at all times.
• Pit Vehicles, if allowed by the event promoter, must have a valid pass displayed and must travel at a maximum speed of 10 mph. Furthermore, all occupants must be seated in their own manufacturer approved seat.
• Motorized vehicles are NOT permitted in the vendor area.
• Helmets are required for ALL motorcycles/ATV riders when the event gates are open (Not UTV’s).
• There is NO riding “double” allowed.
• Pit riding/racing will NOT be tolerated. Race machines will only permitted to be ridden to and from the race course.
• Smoking will not be permitted within 50 feet of the registration area, tech lines, start lines and the scoring area.
• Access lanes, including all areas around or near the event entrances, the pit area, event registration, or other specified areas, must remain clear of vehicles at all times to allow for free flow of official vehicles, safety crews, ambulances, etc.
• If outdoors, dogs must be kept on leash or in an appropriate corral, kennel or cage. Dogs are NOT permitted in the Start area.
NYOA members are asked to assist with event safety issues wherever they may be, including race courses, pit area, entry gates, start areas, etc. When appropriate, NYOA members should inform event staff, such as course workers, NYOA Safety personnel, or any other Promoter event worker or NYOA staff member. NYOA members are also asked to assist in identifying, and if necessary, the removal of spectators located in unnecessarily high-risk areas, such as the first and/or second turns after the Start. When appropriate, NYOA members should assist with course safety and the compliance of NYOA course guidelines.
Thank you for your cooperation!
